As a result of the completion of the acquisition of Intercontinental Bank Plc by Access Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc yesterday January 27th terminated the employment of 1, 500 employees of Intercontinental Bank and also shut down some branches of Intercontinental Bank nationwide for 'non-performance

Samuel Eto'o launches his own network in Cameroun [SET MOBILE]

The four time African footballer of the year last week launched his own mobile network in his native country of Cameroon.

Called Set' Mobile - (derived from the footballer's initials), it is the 3rd mobile operator in Cameroon after Orange and MTN and the new mobile company expects to get a majority of its market share from the youth who are fans of Eto’o.

The 30yr old footballer now plays for Russian team Anzhi Makhachkala where he earns $29 million every season after tax, making him the highest paid footballer in the world currently, and one of sports highest paid earners.

Actress Georgina Onuoha's marriage crumbles.

News making the rounds says the marriage of talented actress,Georgina Onuoha-Igwegbe has crumbled.

The marriage is done with,said a source,and with the way it is it may not be redeemable.

We reliably gathered that so bad has the situation become that her husband,Ifeanyi Igwegbe,has allegedly abandoned their matrimonial home.

We learnt the couple now lives in two different states in the U.S.

Constant disagreement was given as the major reason the man fled,leaving behind his wife and their two daughters.

And no one can say for sure right now what would ultimately become of the union which was contracted amidst controversy then.

All effort to reach Georgina to comment on this issue proved abortive as her number was not available.
